(WSMV) &#8211; Mental Health Cooperative (MHC) has teamed up with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsmv.com\/2025\/11\/05\/brad-kim-paisley-matching-donations-up-50k-store-food-pantry-amid-snap-cuts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Brad Paisley\u2019s The Store<\/mark><\/a>&nbsp;in Nashville to help more people in need access free food and essentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Mental Health Cooperative, we are committed to treating the whole person,\u201d MHC CEO Michelle Schafer says. \u201cAchieving mental well-being is impossible when you\u2019re worried about where your next meal will be coming from. Partnering with The Store will help us restore our consumers\u2019 peace of mind, reset their well-being and revive their spirits, by restoring their bodies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thestore.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The Store<\/mark><\/a>, residents will be able to find the following free of charge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pantry staples<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>dairy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fresh produce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>household items<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hygiene items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Store offers those items for free, but it allows customers to get the experience of shopping by setting itself up, as the name suggests, like a store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s just one way the pantry aims to help maintain dignity for families facing hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At The Store, we believe that access to nutritious food is foundational to both physical and mental well-being,\u201d says Collen Mayer, CEO of The Store. \u201cOur partnership with the Mental Health Cooperative reflects a shared understanding that when someone is seeking support for their mental health, they shouldn\u2019t have to worry about how they\u2019ll feed themselves or their family.
